Andrew Coelho, Sports Writer
Andrew is a senior at GHS and a third-year sports writer for The Gillnetter, but he also made contributions to the paper his freshman year. A three-season student-athlete, he is captain of the GHS soccer team, GHS Indoor and Outdoor Track and Field teams. He also plays soccer year-round for club and state level teams and plans on continuing his athletic and academic career at a 4-year university. Being the Co-President of the Student Council Executive Board, he has been involved in many different clubs since his freshman year such as DECA and the GHS Rotary Interact Club, where he is the Tri-President. He likes to academically challenge himself with AP classes and works hard in the classroom and on the field in order to succeed.
