Adding shredded cheddar cheese to your scrambled eggs will enhance your breakfast experience

As I’m sure most of you know, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Everyday we wake up and eat breakfast, the meal that fuels our bodies’ and gives us enough energy to be able to function throughout the day. Because breakfast is a daily meal, a lot of people will get tired of eating the same thing every morning or will just pour themselves a simple bowl of cereal and call it a day.

In the last few months, we’ve all been spending a lot of time stuck at home and in this time, I’ve picked up a couple cooking tricks that will help spice up your morning breakfast routine.

Here are 4 different, unique ways to eat breakfast.

1. Scrambled eggs with cheese (and milk)

Scrambled eggs are an easy and simple breakfast food that can be made in less than 10 minutes. Although what I would recommend would be to add just a splash of your choice of milk to the whipped eggs before you put it on the pan, in order to give your eggs that creamy touch. But this isn’t even the best part. Once your eggs are almost fully cooked, add some shredded cheese onto the pan right into the eggs and let it cook for another 30-45 seconds in order to let the cheese melt perfectly into your eggs. The combination of the creamy, cheesy eggs are delicious, especially with seasoning.

2. Omelet with hot sauce

If you’re someone who likes spicy food, then this one is most definitely for you. An omelet is basically a big scrambled egg folded over with your choice of toppings inside of it. I personally would put ham, bacon, cheese, and maybe some tomatoes in mine but you can personalize your omelet and put in what you like. Once you’re done making your omelets, just drizzle some hot sauce on it in order to give it a good kick. A good substitute for this would be some hot barbecue sauce if you don’t want it to be as spicy but the best part about an omelet is you making it the way you like it.

3. Bacon, egg, and cheese with mayo

This may be a controversial one but just hear me out and don’t knock the idea until you try it. Most people who eat BLT’s (bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich) usually get mayo with it. What makes a BLT with mayo so good is the combination of the bacon and the mayo and you get the same sensation with this.

4. Bowl of Corn Flakes with a twist

And lastly, for the people who feel too lazy to put in effort into cooking, I have a solution for you as well. I’ve only ever tried this with cornflakes and I highly recommend it, but if you want to experiment with other cereals then be my guest. Now after pouring your bowl of cornflakes, add some chocolate chips before you add the milk. The combination of the cereal, the chocolate chips, and the milks blends together so perfectly that it is delicious. If you want to attempt a more healthy approach then adding strawberries to this will only make it better. A bowl of Corn Flakes tastes good but if you try this you’re never going to want to eat a normal bowl of cereal again.
