Aleena Brown, Sports Editor
Aleena Brown is a junior and the sports editor of The Gillnetter. In her third year as a part of The Gillnetter, Aleena writes about everything (mostly sports). She’s on the Varsity Softball, Track, and Field Hockey teams. Aleena currently serves as DECA President, as well as being a member of NHS, NAHS, STUCO, and more. When she’s not serving bowls at Chipotle, she spends her time photographing GHS sporting events, shopping, and writing poems. Lexi Thomas is a Senior at Gloucester High School, and a third year staff member for the Gillnetter. She enjoys writing creatively and thoroughly enjoys regularly publishing for the paper! Lexi is the Editor in-chief of the paper, President of the Senior class, President of the Racial Equity and Advocacy club, Secretary for the NAHS, member of the NHS, DECA Marketing and Outreach director, member of the Varsity Cheerleading team, and runs her own photography platform which caters to Sports and Event photography.
