Gloucester’s own teen rock sensation, Kicked Off The Bus, is making waves this summer with the release of their debut CD and a headlining performance at The Cut, one of the city’s premier live music venues.
Formed in the fall of 2022, Kicked Off The Bus features five standout young musicians: Brandon Blatchford (Lead vocals), Sam Pallazolla (Guitar), Elliana Parsons (Piano and backing vocals), David Berg (Bass), and Henry Goulart (Drums).
The band has quickly earned a reputation for their high-energy shows and broad setlists, blending classics from Elvis and The Beatles with hard hitters from artists like Van Halen and Ozzy Osbourne.
“We have a lot of fun.” Sam Pallazolla, the guitarist, said. “We do music from the fifties all the way to today.”
Following the success of singles like “Come Back” and “The World’s Most Crowded Room” which have drawn thousands of streams, the band is gearing up to release their first CD. The upcoming album showcases their original music and reflects their growth as artists.
“It took 8 hours to record each song and then our producer mixes it and we release it.” Pallazolla said. “My favorite part of the process is sitting down and listening to the raw tape when it’s all done being recorded.”
To celebrate the CD release, Kicked Off The Bus will perform live at The Cut on Sunday, July 27th. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Tickets at $30 for reserved seating and $20 for general admission. The event is open for all ages.
“I’m looking forward to it.” Pallazolla said. “It’s supposed to be a big performance and an incredible venue.”
Tickets are available through The Cut’s official website.
Don’t miss your chance to see one of Gloucester’s most exciting new bands take the stage in what’s sure to be an unforgettable night of original music, youthful energy, and community spirit.
