This summer, Gloucester Stage Company invites teens ages 12–16 to take center stage in a week of creativity, confidence-building, and performance magic with the Teen Summer Intensive, running July 28 through August 1, 2025.
Designed for performers of all experience levels, this immersive program offers young artists the chance to train in singing, dancing, and ensemble performance—all under the guidance of professional theater artists. The week-long intensive will culminate in a final showcase performance on the Gloucester Stage Company’s professional stage, giving students the thrill of performing in a real working theater.
The Production Team includes experienced performers and educators to bring this show to life! Director Ts Burnham, Assistant Director Lexi Thomas and Music Director Martina Gallo are all very excited to bring this vision to life.
Throughout the week, participants will:
- Receive daily training in voice, movement, and stage performance
- Learn group choreography and ensemble songs from musical theater hits
- Gain real-world rehearsal experience and performance confidence
- Collaborate with peers and professionals in a supportive environment
- Perform in a final showcase on Friday, August 1
Whether you’re a first-time performer or a passionate theater kid looking to sharpen your skills, the Teen Summer Intensive offers a fun, focused, and welcoming environment where every student can thrive.
