Mila Barry, Editor-in-chief

Mila Barry is in her fourth year at Gloucester High School, and her third year on the Gillnetter staff.  Outside of writing for the newspaper, she’s a passionate poet, and has won multiple awards through the Sawyer Free Library’s Poetry Without Paper Contest as well as The Boston Globe’s Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. She’s Editor in Chief of GHS’s literary magazine, The Elicitor, and loves art, particularly photography.  After school Mila juggles Student Council with soccer practice, swim team, and sailing.  In her spare time she enjoys baking and being outdoors.
