Donate to the Virtual Food Drive!

The Open Door Food Pantry is playing a vital role in the fight against COVID-19 without a single doctor on staff. As devastating as the disease itself has been in our community, its economic implications have been even farther reaching. Job loss is rampant and food security is following suit.

The Open Door is working hard to compensate for the sudden rise in need, and there’s a way for community members with a penny to spare to support. Though they cannot accept food donations due to the virus, a Virtual Food Drive has been organized to ensure that everyone is fed.

There are two ways to donate:

  1. Donate directly through the link here (feel free to share and send to others!)
  2. Start a donation campaign through the link here, and invite other to give

The Open Door serves over 3,000 unique households and over 7,000 people every year. Your money goes to support core food programs, as well as the expanded curbside distribution program, which serves those that are now housebound.
