This past Friday, the Fishermen Swim and Dive team earned a huge win against Peabody, moving their record to 3-1.
The team was striving for revenge after a loss against Peabody in the previous season, and it was a hard fought battle throughout the entire meet.
Swimmers that found success in individual events were Amos Telep, Henry Siezdik, Joey Porcello, Susie Low, and Anna Patrick. Telep got first in the 200 freestyle, Low placed an impressive first in the 500 freestyle, and Patrick won the 100 backstroke. Siezdik placed first in both the 200 IM and the 100 butterfly, and Porcello got first in both the 50 freestyle and the 100 freestyle.
Gloucester also took first in the 400 freestyle relay, with the team of Patrick, Telep, Porcello, and Siezdik.
The team will be heading to Marblehead for their next meet on January 22.
