Last Friday the Gloucester football team dominated the field winning 27-0 against Lynn Classical. Gloucester had complete control of the game from the start, scoring on the very first drive with a one yard touchdown run by Andrew Latassa.

Along with Gloucester’s powerful offensive line their defensive came to play, not letting up a single point.

The players in the backfield all contributed to the win. Andrew Latassa had two touchdowns while Patrick Goss and Tyler Meunsaveng had one. Captain Alex Enes had an amazing game receiving 124 rushing yards on a total of 14 carries.

Andrew Latassa also contributed 94 rushing yards of his own.

“Our focus is now on Beverly. We have to have a great week of practice and cut down on the penalties. We will be ready to go come Friday night,” said quarterback and captain Mike Cody.

The team was ready to go and now are getting ready for their next matchup against the Beverly Panthers this Friday at Newell Stadium at 7 p.m.
