Seniors: mark your calendars!
Important dates and events for seniors are posted next to the ticket booth.
The fourth and final quarter of the school year is less than a week away, seniors are preparing for several events coming up in the next few months.
With many upcoming events in close proximity to each other, the myriad of dates and deadlines has been a source of confusion for the majority of seniors. Here is an outline of upcoming senior events.
Senior Banquet tickets are currently on sale at both lunches for $40 per person until Friday April 5th. The date of the Senior Banquet is Thursday April 25th at 6:00 PM in Danvers at the Doubletree Hotel.
On May 23rd, Academic Recognition Night will take place at 7:00 PM in the auditorium for all grades to attend.
Advanced Placement exams will take place between May 6-15th. Students taking these tests have already signed up, but a meeting with more information about the exams will take place before the test dates. Consult your teachers about the specific dates and times of your exams.
On May 24th, the yearbook release party will take place at 1:00 PM in the auditorium. However, the yearbook signing will not take place until May 31st along with senior breakfast and mandatory graduation practice.
The last day of school for seniors this is May 31st. This coincides with this year’s prom at Danversport Yacht club. The Grand Promenade will take place first at the high school at 5:00 PM. Tickets will be going on sale soon.
Following the last day of school for seniors, there will be a second mandatory graduation practice on Friday June 7th at 9:00 AM. Senior Awards Night will take place the same day at 7:00 PM in the auditorium.
Finally, graduation will take place at New Stadium at 1:30 on Sunday June 9th.
