Need some holiday cheer? The Gloucester High School music department will perform it’s annual Holiday Concert Thursday night.
Both ensembles have been working everyday in school and out of school to prepare for the concert.
“We’ve worked really hard and I’m very excited to show the community what we put together,” Senior chorus member Anaya Briguglio said.
The chorus will also be performing with songs like “Christmas(Baby Please Come Home)”, and Silent Night, including some verses in German. The jazz band’s set list will include songs such as “We Three Kings”, “Puente Arriba”, and “That Warm Feeling”.
“I love Christmas music and it really helps everyone get into the Christmas spirit,” Band President Sean Buckley said. “The holidays are such a fun time and it’s so great that we get to bring the community together with music.”
Admission is free with a suggested $4 donation, and no family should donate more than $20.00
