Interested in going to New York City? The art department will be going on a field trip overnight from May 1st to the 2nd.

Students do not have to actively be in an Art class to go, they are able to go if they have taken an art class previously at GHS. The cost of the trip will depend on the amount of students who sign up for the trip, the lowest cost will be $325.00, and the highest is $375.00.

There is a $50 down payment due by December 15th. Finalized prices will be confirmed after the deadline.

The trip will consist of a walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, visiting the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and a trip to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens.

Students will be encouraged to create art while they are on this trip, and become inspired by the art they see. It is a great opportunity for students to get out of Gloucester and explore. There will be transportation provided, along with a tour guide.

Students should see Ms. Harney or Ms. Cerruti to sign up.
