Looking for a fun way to celebrate the long weekend? Love supporting a good cause as much as having a good time?

The Hexachords and Emmanuel College’s For Good Measure will perform at the high school’s Putney Auditorium in “A Night of Acapella” tomorrow night to benefit GHS’s Theatre Program.

“The Hexachords are an extremely talented group,” said Drama Club member Karlee Hynes. “When they came last year, my friends and I were jumping out of our seats with excitement. They blew my mind- you won’t want to miss this!”

The Hexachords recently finished third in the semi-finals on Pop’s acapella group competition “Sing It On.”  Hexachord Katy Geraghty and For Good Measure’s Kate Parisi are GHS alumni who will also be featured in tomorrow night’s show, which will raise money for the Theatre Progam’s 2016-2017 season and 2017 trip to New York City.

“Last year when The Hexachords came, a lot of people came and we made a lot of money. They’ve also grown a lot since then,” said Hynes. “I’m not that familiar with For Good Measure, but from what I’ve listened to they sound great!”
