Color your run
Help support the class of 2018
September 14, 2016
Throw on your white shirts and prepare to get colorful. On Saturday September 24th, the class of 2018 will be hosting a 2 mile color run at Stage Fort Park.
This local color run is based off the nationwide running event The Color Run; a 5K spiced up with colored chalk and a finish line bash.
Tickets are currently being sold $15 per person. If you’re worried about the cost, don’t be deterred. Preregister for the run by e-mailing the class of 2018 through their Facebook page and tickets are only $10.
Want to run with your family? There is a family package of 4+ members for only $40.
“We hope to have around 100 people participating in the run. Each runner will be given their own paint and can use it how ever they want,” said junior class president Danielle Larrabee. “We hope this will bring people together from all over town to have a little fun before school really starts to get hectic.”
