Six students from Gloucester High School have been selected to showcase their work in the Through the Student’s Lens 2026 Photography Exhibition, hosted by the Marblehead Arts Association.
The annual exhibition features student photographers from fifteen North Shore schools, highlighting exceptional creativity and artistic vision. Gloucester High School was invited to participate, with sixstudent photographers chosen to represent the school in this year’s show: Sophomore Shane Widtfeldt, Juniors Jocelyn Maddalena, Gracie Sarofeen, Cole Mosley-Wynn, and Emma Longo, and Senior Anaya Briguglio.
The exhibition will open with a reception on Sunday, March 1st at the Marblehead Arts Association. Photographs will be professionally printed by Hunt’s Photo and Video, the event’s sponsor, and will remain on display for approximately one month following the opening.
The selected students’ work reflects a wide range of subjects and styles, demonstrating both technical skill and unique perspective behind the camera. Being chosen for this exhibition is considered a significant honor and an opportunity for students to share their artistic talents with a broader audience.
“This was my first time having my photography displayed outside of the Gloucester community.” Senior Anaya Briguglio said. “Seeing it hung with other work from a wider range was really cool.”
The Marblehead Arts Association’s Through the Student’s Lens exhibition continues to celebrate and support young artists across the North Shore, providing a platform for emerging artists to gain recognition for their work.
