A political forum featuring candidates for State Representative will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at the Gloucester High School Lecture Hall. The event is hosted by the Cape Ann Political Action Committee and will be moderated by Howard Frisch, CPA.
The forum will give community members the opportunity to hear directly from candidates seeking to fill the seat of the late Ann-Margaret Ferrante. The five candidates participating are Christina Delisio (R-Manchester), Ashley Sullivan (R-Gloucester), Dru Tarr (D-Gloucester), and Sarah Wilkinson (D-Rockport), and Gilbert Frieden (Non-Party – Essex) who will answer questions in front of a live audience.
Students are encouraged to get involved by volunteering to help with preparation, greeting attendees, and other event needs. No prior experience is required, and all students are welcome. Participating students may also receive letters of recommendation for their involvement.
Students interested in volunteering can call or text Cynthia Bjorlie at 508-284-2418 or email [email protected] to register.
