The Hornets’ Cross Country sweeps the Georgetown Pioneers with perfect scores on both sides.
The boys swept the top six finishes, with senior Jeferson DoCarmo coming in first. Sophomore Isaiah Nicastro and senior captain Lyall Cunningham followed in a close second and third. Sophomore Gus Hall and freshman Shawn Aloi took the next couple of positions.
The girls’ team was just as successful, taking the first six positions. Freshman Anna Sergi came in first, senior Ruby McElhenny came second, and senior captain River Silva came in third. River Martin and Sadie Rich took the next couple of positions. Georgetown had a forfeit against the girls’ team due to a lack of finishers.
The team competes on Wednesday, September 24, against Amesbury.
