With the holiday season fast approaching, Gloucester is known for being active in the community and contributing to communities in need. Kops-n-Kids, a program through the Gloucester Police Department is teaming up with the Boys GHS Hockey team this Wednesday, December 11th at Talbot Rink.
“Every year the community gets together to donate gifts to families and community members in need,” Officer Mike Scola said.
Kops-n-Kids has been conducting Toy Drives since 2020, gathering hundreds of toys for the holidays. Sponsored by the First Responders Children’s Foundation, recommendations for gifts include toys for younger children and gift cards for older children.
Those contributing to the toy drive through a toy or gift card will receive a free gift from the GHS Boys Hockey team, as well as being entered to win a free season ticket to all home games
If you bring a toy or gift card to the toy drive you will receive a free gift from GHS Boys hockey, and be entered to win a free season ticket to all home games.
Drive will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a Girls Varsity scrimmage at 5:30 p.m. and a Boys Varsity scrimmage at 7:15 p.m.
