Recently announced, Wellspring House is offering two transformative scholarship opportunities that are currently accepting new applicants. The Cape Ann High School Graduate Fund and the Robert Clark Rogers Opportunity Fund are accepting applications from May 9, 2024, to May 20, 2024.
The Cape Ann High School Graduate Fund is dedicated to supporting recent Cape Ann high school graduates pursuing associate or bachelor’s degrees. Wellspring House is committed to partnering with students throughout their academic journeys, offering $40,000 per recipient over four years. Eligible students must reside in Cape Ann, be aged 17-21, and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.7.
The Robert Clark Rogers Opportunity Fund is designed to foster educational and professional growth, this fund assists Cape Ann residents and those in surrounding areas seeking post-secondary education or job training. Preference is initially given to current Cape Ann residents, and the fund covers various educational pursuits approved by Wellspring’s Scholarship Committee.
Wellspring House is an organization that combines crisis intervention, shelter services, and long-term educational and job training programs to help inspire families and individuals to achieve financial security and a sustainable quality of life. Established in 1981, Wellspring House has provided critical support to community members in Gloucester, MA. Combining through innovative strategies, Wellspring continues to make a profound impact, providing crucial resources and guidance to over 1,265 families and young adults annually.
The application is to be completed online, and all additional information is linked on the Wellspring website here. Recipients of these scholarships will be supported by Wellspring House’s dedicated staff, including the Career Pathways administrative coordinator, ensuring that students receive guidance throughout their educational and professional development.
