With the school year ending the Racial Equity team wanted to provide a place for students to feel welcome and have fun celebrating their roots together, one last time.

As part of the Cultural Celebration Day, there will be cultural music and games. The group will support our local restaurants by having amazing food from them. It’s also free entry, so come down prepared to have fun because everyone is welcome.

Entertainment will be provided by DJ, John Turcios, and the Cape Ann Student Band, directed by Jamie Klopotoski.

The celebration will be held In the back courtyard of Gloucester High School on Sunday, May 21st! From 1 PM to 4 PM, the racial equity team will be waiting to celebrate and commemorate where we came from and to have a good time.

“All are welcome,” Racial Equity member Trinity O’Leary said. “This is going to be such a fun event!”

If you are planning to attend, you can park anywhere near the tennis courts and boat ramps, that are to the right of the school.
