  They are open. Nice documentary. Last summer was much better than the summer of 2020.

    Thank you for your kind comment! It’s great to hear that the quarries are open, but it would be helpful if the city took down the signs at the quarries stating that they are closed and for a public announcement to be made giving the “further notice” that was alluded to in the June 2020 press release that had temporarily closed the quarries until “further notice.” I did a search on gloucester-ma.gov and could not find any statements about the reopening of the quarries.
