The Fisherman girls’ lacrosse team faced a hard loss to the Marblehead Magicians this Friday. The final score was 17-2, dropping Gloucester’s record to 1-11.
Marblehead started strong by scoring 12 goals by the half. At the end of the second quarter, Skye Berry got Gloucester’s first goal by taking it from the midfield to the net.
In the fourth quarter, Meadow Anderson scored, bringing it to the net from the midfield.
Even though the score didn’t show it, Gloucester kept their hopes up and had fun throughout the rainy game.
“The game was good [for] team bonding, and everyone had fun,” Julia Palk said.
