On Tuesday, March 11th, Gloucester High School is hosting a Resource Fair, where Spring sport athletes will hear from speaker Kaleb Joseph. All students and parents are encouraged to attend.
The event was planned by baseball coach and English teacher Rory Gentile and sponsored by the Gloucester Athletic Association.
After earning a Division 1 scholarship for basketball in eighth grade, Joseph experienced a lot of stress and anxiety and even developed an addiction because of it. He was able to recover and got a lot of support from former NBA players in the process.
Kaleb Joseph will be visiting on his Self Help Tour to talk to high school athletes, speaking on the importance of emotional intelligence, resilience, and self-awareness.
Joseph’s goal is to help prevent and support students and young athletes who may be struggling under the weight of pressure.
The Resource Fair will begin at 5:00 pm, and Kaleb Joseph will be there at 6:00 pm in the GHS Auditorium
