The Gloucester High School Counseling department has reimagined how students can explore college opportunities without leaving the building.
Throughout all of October and November, there will be multiple chances for students to talk with representatives from schools all over New England. Including University of Maine, Fairfield University, Sacred Heart University, and more.
During each lunch block on Thursdays and Fridays, there will be 5 to 6 different colleges positioned outside the cafeteria, in front of the trophy case. Representatives will be there to give information, answer questions, and sign students up for mailing lists.
“This is an exciting, new opportunity designed to make connections accessible to all students.” Head of Counseling Department Laura Carlson said.
Students can view the full list of visiting representatives and dates in their SCOIR account and on the postings outside the School Counseling Department.
