Freshman Abby Noble started the game in the circle, locking the game down on defense. Angela Russo came into the game for relief, striking out six and allowing just one baserunner in three innings. The duo allowed just two hits (one each) and one walk across the frame.
On the offensive side, Olivia Madruga tripled (an inside-the-park home run on an error) and Aleena Brown singled (a triple on an error). Ava Paone notched three RBI in her 2-3 run at the plate while Tasara Frontiero went 2-3 with one RBI.
