Between June and September of 2024, the Cape Ann Museum is offering free kids activities at both the Downtown Campus on Pleasant Street and the CAM Green on Popular Street.
CAM Downtown Campus
The events kick off with the 4th Annual Gloucester Juneteenth Celebration on Sunday, June 16th from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm, which celebrates the holiday through music, dance, and food.
Courtyard Concerts will also be making a comeback from July 11th to August 29th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm in the CAM Courtyard.
Arts and Sensory Thursdays from July 18th through August 22nd at 3:00 pm will be led by Sarah Brown which aims to foster creativity, fine motor skills, and sensory exploration in a positive and fun social environment.
CAM will also be celebrating Brazilian Independence Day on Sunday, August 25th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm with music, food, activities, and more.
For those interested in movement activities, Sarah Swift from MAGMA will be hosting Movement @ the Museum on Thursday, July 11th, and Thursday, August 29th at 3:00 pm.
CAM Green
CAM also celebrates Indigenous Heritage Day on Saturday, July 20th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with activities aimed towards educating the public about Indigenous Culture in Cape Ann and beyond.
Additionally, the Second Saturday at CAM every month is free admission for the Cape Ann Museum.
