Mia Rodolosi - Field Hockey
Freshmen aren’t usually the ones carrying the offense. But from her very first varsity game, Mia Rodolosi proved she was different. Fast forward to this fall, and the sophomore forward is cementing the foundation for a breakout season.
Rodolosi scored her first goal in the Fishermen's first matchup against Beverly, slicing GHS's deficit in half in the final minute of play.
To follow up on the already dominant opening, the sophomore had a hat trick against Danvers.
Rodolosi topped the week of games off with a game-changing performance against NEC rival Masconomet. The forward notched a goal and an assist in the 2-2 tie to help fend off the defending champion Chieftans.
The sophomore can do it all when it comes to the game: trick shots, slaps, flicks, chips, ariel dribbling, jukes — you name it. Strong on both the offensive and defensive sides, Rodolosi has the skill to become a household name for GHS athletics fans.
The forward led the team in goals and assists in the team's opening week — and still does, matter of fact. While every moving piece in GHS Field Hockey's master equation contributes to their winning ways, they have Rodolosi to thank for their offense prowess as of late.
And if she continues the way she has?
The NEC has a big threat to handle —and she still has three seasons to go.
