Gloucester Fishermen Track seizes Lynch Division title

The Fishermen beat the Swampscott Big Blue in a Lynch Division division showdown that decided the 2025 spring track champions.

Gloucester celebrated eleven seniors: Dylan Smith, Nicky Clements, Henry Stevens, Skye Ciolino, Sarah Fernandes, Rose Groleau, Sabine Cooper, Isabelle Donnelean, Aili Spencer, Megan Hurd, Lauren Sargent, and Sam Heanue. 

The girls had many wins across the board. First-place finishers included Grace Castellucci (200m), Ciolino (400m), Hurd (100m and triple jump), Cia Donohoe (400mH), Spencer (long jump, high jump, and 100mH), and Georgana Cuthers (one mile). Both the 4×400 and 4×100 relays placed 1st. Second-place finishes came from Donnelean (400m H), Caitie Dewan (100mH), River Silva (one mile), Caroline Eliassen (400m), Sargent (shot put), and Hope Castellucci (800m). 

The boys also had many successes leading to their win. First places came from Jeferson DoCarmo (400mH), Heanue (110mH), Dylan Rochford (100m), and Vincent Mannone (400m). Second-place finishers included Smith (200m), DoCarmo (800m), Stevens (two-mile), Lyall Cunningham (one-mile), Nathan Stanley (110mH), and Leo Cosentino (100m).
