Trevor D'Annolfo - Golf

After transferring to GHS this year, junior Trevor D’Annolfo left a huge mark this season on the GHS golf team.

D’Annolfo helped Gloucester to a third place finish in the NEC Open with a stellar performance on the course. In the following Division 2 North Sectional Tournament, D’Annolfo tied for tenth place as he carded for 81 (+11). His team-leading performance led him to the state championship where he tied for 59th with a score of 84.

A main contributor to the team, D’Annolfo ended with an 11-4-1 record on the season, with a conference record of 9-3-1.

An AP and honors student, D’Annolfo is a model student-athlete. Controlling his game on the course and excelling in his classes, he’s a perfect example of what a student-athlete should be.

D’Annolfo looks to have a big season next fall with the team.

Joesph Allen - Football

Junior Joseph Allen is a captain for the Fishermen football team, playing a large role on both offense and defense.

Allen had a break-out performance in Gloucester's win over the Saugus Sachems. He ran the football 18 times, recording a total of 293 yards and three touchdowns. Allen played a huge role in the Fishermen’s 32-12 victory.

Allen also helped the defense post a shutout in the second half of the game as an outside linebacker. He contributed to many tackles and pass stops. Due to his tremendous performance this week, Joseph was named one of Boston Herald’s Division 5 stars of the week.
