“I have not heard about this website before,” said Junior Rachel Alexander. “It’s stupid to buy a really expensive dress that you’re going to wear for only one night, especially if you can get one of the same quality that’s less expensive.”
“It’s cheaper and it saves you the anxiety of going into a dress store and dealing with the pushy people that work there,” said Lane.
Rent the Runway will also take care of any cleaning that needs to be done. This unique company has locations all over the U.S. including Chicago, Washington D.C., New York City, and Las Vegas.

I think this is such a good idea. spending lots of money on a prom dress is not worth it, especially when you only wear it for a night. having an alternative could be very helpful for many people going to prom.

I have never heard of this company but after reading this article I will have to check it out! Growing up with two sisters I can easily say my family has spend at least $2,000 on dresses worn once. One of my sisters went to two proms and two semis (hers and her boyfriends) wearing different dresses for each occasion. My other sister had one prom dress and one semi dress. These expenses add up very quickly and it is pointless on spending $500 on a dress and $100 on shoes for just one night. I will be sure to check out this website once I go to an event!

What an amazing option! It is wonderful that you can wear your dream dress without all the stress and anxiety that goes into buying expensive dresses that will only be worn once. This is definitely something I will check out!

This sounds like a great website because you can try on multiple dresses without feeling the need to buy them all. I like how you can rent the dress instead of having to buy it for over $200.

I can’t believe I have never heard about this company! I know so many people, including myself, who have spent tons of money on dresses that remain in their closet after one night of wearing it. Its also great you can buy accessories too. It’s so much easier getting everything you need in one place. Never again will I buy an over priced dress when I can just rent one!
